In a time where the concept of love is casual, SZA breaks ground helping women everywhere with self acceptance.

The glittered songstress released her debut album, CTRL, in June and sent shock waves through the industry. The album is attributed to her personal experience with love, and an fresh perspective on all the joys, anxieties, and insecurities of being a millennial woman.

Diving into her writing style, SZA organically lays down her vocals stating,

"I listen back and think, what’s shitty? And if something’s too shitty and I can’t put my finger on it, and I think, wow this sucks to me, then I get way frustrated, and usually scrap the song."

SZA bares her truth over melodic chords, sampled elements, and affectionate lyrics.

CTRL, peaked at number 3, on the US Billboard 200 charts, and number 2 Billboards, Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
